1:1 Nutrition Counseling Services

I currently offer one on one nutrition counseling sessions. My recommendation is to do weekly with a duration depending on your individual needs. I take clients who would like to pay out of pocket and am in network with Anthem Blue Cross & United Healthcare Insurance. It’s easy to fall for the empty promises of strict diets that don’t work and time and time again, I see women falling for these empty promises, leading to a vicious diet cycle that only leads to feelings of guilt and shame. I practice intuitive eating with my clients, because unlike dieting/restricting you cannot fail at intuitive eating.

The Food Freedom 8-week Program

8-week Online Food Freedom Course

Gain private access to my Food Freedom course through teachable. This course is designed for 1 video each week and includes corresponding activities and handouts. This course will help you understand the principles of intuitive eating, gain a basic understanding of food groups (protein, carbohydrates and fat), how nutrients work in the body and help guide you towards making a balanced plate to honor your health through gentle nutrition.

Weekly 1-1 Follow-Ups With Dietitian (Virtual)

During these sessions, we will discuss progress, setbacks and significant milestones. Also, a time to ask questions and do some mindful eating exercises with me. We will review your nutrition plan and food choices and adjust along the way as needed to make sure you are set up for continued success.

Access to Individualized Meal Ideas

I create a personalized meal plan with the foods you love. This meal plan includes recipes and a grocery list to make meals that are easy and convent for your schedule. You will have access to this meal plan throughout the 8 weeks.

Access to Nourishly App: Intuitive Eating Support and Guidance

This app goes beyond addicting calorie-counting toward fundamental day-to-day behavior changes to meet one’s nutritional needs. Learn sustainable habits and no longer have a need to keep a food log. This app gives you unlimited access to a dietitian to communicate your meals, snacks and emotions to get the support you need outside of our weekly sessions.

FAQs

  • I am currently working on getting credentialed with Anthem and United Healthcare. In the meantime, I do create super bills for insurance company to reimburse you. If you would like to learn more, please reach out.

  • I want to ensure you are able to receive the help you need, so we can work out payment plans that are mutually beneficial. We can discuss this at your free discovery call.

  • 1 on 1 sessions are included as part of the Food Freedom Program, however if you would like 1:1 sessions independently, please contact me.

  • In order to become a Registered Dietitian (RD), it requires a Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree from an ACEND-Accredited program, plus 1200 hours of a Dietetic Internship, then passing a CDR (Commission on Dietetic Registration) Exam. It also requires continuing education units in order to renew the RD license.

    There are no certifications or licenses to become a nutritionist. Registered Dietitians are also considered Nutritionists but have extensive training in various topics in nutrition and are a credible source for providing nutrition information.
